All content on GayHoopla is produced by Blurred Media LLC. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).

Copyright takedown notice

If you believe material on GayHoopla infringes your copyright, email a written notice to help@gayhoopla.com that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  3. identification of the infringing material and the URL(s) where it appears on GayHoopla;
  4. your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

We remove or disable access to the material promptly and resolve copyright notices within five (5) business days.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you can email a counter-notice to help@gayhoopla.com that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the URL where it appeared before it was removed;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  4. your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district of your address (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Blurred Media LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, Blurred Media LLC terminates the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
